This letter supersedes the previous offer letter dated May 6, 2022.
|
|
|
|
The Provost has approved my recommendation for you to visit the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as **Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance** for the term of **August 16, 2022 through June 4, 2023** at a total compensation of **$324,109**. We understand you have decided to take a leave of absence from University of Southern California next academic year to visit at Chicago Booth. As such, you will be placed on the University of Chicago payroll for this period and will need to meet the normal hiring requirements including verification of your ability to legally work in the US. We understand your visa updates are currently in process. You will also be able to enroll in the regular benefits upon your appointment.

|
While here, we would like for you to teach three sections of **Business 20410 "Corporate Finance"** in our undergraduate program in **winter 2023**. In addition to teaching in the undergraduate programs, this appointment also entails an obligation to contribute to the intellectual life of the School and the University.
|
|
|
|
You will receive a one-time **Research and Teaching Supplement (RATS)** in the amount of **$5,000** to cover teaching and research expenses.
|
|
|
|
